For summer. A white striped chiffon qixiong under a blue flower stitched ji beizi.

I really should start keep record of my progress to show how I work on these projects.

LiangYuZuan · I use a sewing machine, yes. I cannot embroider to save my life. 😂😂 The materials are all bought from the store. I was lucky enough to find them in the bargain shelf. The beizi was cut from a 4 yard length. It was pre-designed with the flowers ( likely machine embroidered ). The qixiong was 8 yards plus inner lining.

I wonder if the hanfu style you prefer might be revealing of the heritage or era/dynasty of one’s ancestry. 😏 🤔 Such ancient history is so far reaching.
