Help with the collar
Hi everyone! I hope you’re all doing well and having a great day.
Could someone help me with the measurements, angles, and curves of the collars for different hanfu shirts? I made a Zhongyi, but the collar trim is lifting up because my curve was too sharp. Are there any specific measurements that would prevent this problem?
I’m adapting the general measurements to my size (since I’m very thin) but I can’t find any matches for the collar. I tried to make the right lapel 40° and the left 30°, but the curvature doesn’t allow it to close properly without lifting up or hanging too low.

20° – 35° is the range most pattern makers use for a smooth, stable collar edge. But I don’t know if it’s suitable for you.

In history, Hanfu had wide sleeves (larger than shown in the picture), so reducing it’s not an easy work
