“Peony Madam” Hanfu Show: Designed by China’s top-ten fashion designer Shi Jie, this collection blends Chinese mulberry silk and ramie with Western tailoring, featuring ink-dye gradients and draped silhouettes to embody “vastness and inclusivity” in Eastern philosophy.
Cultural Fusion: Runway shows, intangible heritage exhibitions, and award ceremonies highlight the collision of Heluo culture (Yellow River-Luo River civilization) with contemporary trends.
“See Now, Buy Now” Market: Brands from Hangzhou, Shanghai, and Wuhan display “new Chinese-style” Hanfu, peony-themed attire, allowing visitors to purchase pieces post-show.
