What do you think of the hanfu costumes in games?

There are a lot of Chinese ranger style online games, and the costumes in them are well made.

Needless to say, this has provided inspiration for many modern hanfu, as
Kaldea said, many businesses now have some joint models that really combine the costumes from the games with the hanfu.

But, just like the costumes in the drama, although they are very similar to hanfu, most of them can’t be called hanfu. Of course, that’s just one aspect. That doesn’t stop people from liking it.

I always think that game hanfu is very dramatic. Usually girl’s game hanfu has a flowing streak around or very flowy clothes with a no gravity effect. I found game hanfu to buy on AliExpress.

I’ve been getting interested in hanfu lately, and I’ve noticed that the photos of the models in hanfu are very exquisite, how do the photo shoot? Is there a professional team for all of them? Can I get a similar picture if I only use my phone?

It’s not as simple as that. For me, I can only recognize individual styles.
For example, qixiong ruqun are mostly from the tang dynasty. Aoqun are mostly from the ming dynasty. And the robe may be one of the three dynasties, tang, song or ming. As for the men’s part of the style, similar to the robe, most of them are the ming dynasty.

Also, when it is shenyi it is from Qin or Han dynasty. And Wei and Jin dynasty have like “natural” style. It is really loose(even compared to qiyao ruqun) and has thin belt, usually. It has wide sleeves but it does not look luxurious as in Tang or Song.

Yeah, the second picture. I saw some Mongolians with high hats, so I thought that the picture on the right looked like that. But on the second thought, the picture on left seems to be Tibetan, as you say.
