Wang Lin’s Plan to Drug a Star in Renegade Immortal

Wang Lin’s Plan to Drug a Star in Renegade Immortal

Renegade Immortal (仙逆) throws a terrifying twist at Wang Lin (王林) when he arrives on Yunxia (云霞) Star. The glittering Jin Yan (金炎) Mine he craves is not ore but the spine of a sleeping monster called Wang Yue (望月). This parasite once fed inside an eight-star Gu Shen (古神) named Luo Chen (罗尘), then turned on its host and reached the peak Sui Nie (碎涅) realm. Now the entire planet is its flesh. How can a mere cultivator steal from such a beast? He cannot fight it. He cannot run. But Wang Lin has a crazy idea: drug the planet.

1. A Planet of Bone

When Wang Lin first heard about the Jin Yan Mine, his heart raced. The Tianni (天逆) Pearl inside him hungered for metal essence. Four years ago, three great elders on another star killed a rogue cultivator from the Huan (幻) Family. That dead man carried a secret map pointing to Yunxia Star. Wang Lin thought he had hit the jackpot. He imagined scooping up golden flames, feeding his pearl, and becoming its true master. But the moment he landed on Yunxia Star, his excitement turned to ice.

The mine was not a vein. It was a backbone. A single, massive, fiery spine stretching across the landscape. And beneath that spine? Flesh. Mountains of it. Valleys of it. The whole star breathed—slowly, deeply, as if in a dreamless sleep. Wang Lin felt tiny. He had seen giant beasts before, but nothing like this. This creature had grown so large that it had become a world. Every rock, every grain of sand, every shimmer of golden light came from its body. Touching the mine meant touching its bone. And touching its bone meant waking it up.

He stood there for a long time, calculating. The Wang Yue’s cultivation level matched a Sui Nie grand Perfection—almost the highest stage below ascension. At his current power, Wang Lin could not even scratch its skin. If it woke, he would be crushed like a bug. For a moment, he considered leaving. But leaving felt like death to his pride. He had not survived so many betrayals and battles just to walk away from a treasure because it looked scary. So he stayed. He watched. He thought. And then he remembered a fruit.

2. The Parasite That Ate a God

Wang Yue is not an ordinary monster. It is a parasite that only lives inside Gu Shen—ancient gods with stars for bodies. Normally, when a Gu Shen dies, its Wang Yue dies too. But Luo Chen’s case broke the rules. This eight-star god did not perish. Instead, the Wang Yue inside him grew so powerful that it devoured him from within. Luo Chen did not vanish; he regressed to a childlike form. The parasite kept feeding, kept growing, until it burst out and became Yunxia Star itself. It still thinks it is inside a host. That is why it sleeps—waiting, always waiting, for more god blood.

Wang Lin knew this story from old texts. He also knew that a Wang Yue that has reached this size is nearly immortal. It cannot be killed by normal attacks. It does not feel pain the way living creatures do. Its only weakness is its hunger. It craves the blood of Gu Shen above all else. Nothing else can make it move. So if Wang Lin wanted to take its bone without waking it, he had to do something impossible: anesthetize a star. Not with swords or spells, but with a poison that numbs all sensation.

That poison is Ru Mo Guo (入魔果), the madness fruit. He had eaten too many of them once, while fighting a demon. The fruit had driven him into a berserk rage, but it had also made him feel nothing. No pain. No fear. No awareness of damage. If he could force the Wang Yue to swallow Ru Mo Guo juice, the monster would sink into a deeper, dreamless coma. Then he could sneak in, cut out a piece of its spine, and escape before it twitched. The idea was insane. But insane ideas were Wang Lin’s specialty.

3. Juice, Gods, and a Cowed Family

The first problem: Wang Yue only drinks Gu Shen blood. It would never suck up Ru Mo Guo juice on its own. Wang Lin had a solution, though. He knew the ancient hand seals of the Gu Shen—secret techniques that could guide a parasite’s feeding instincts. By performing those seals, he could trick the Wang Yue into thinking the juice was blood. The second problem: where to get enough Ru Mo Guo to affect a planet-sized body? He could not grow them himself. That would take decades.

Then he remembered the Huan Family. They had once been powerful, arrogant, and rich in rare herbs. But two years ago, Wang Lin had borrowed a demon’s strength to kill their strongest elder, Huan Wuqing (幻无情). After that defeat, the whole family bowed to him like frightened dogs. They would give him anything he asked for. So he sent a message: deliver every Ru Mo Guo in your vaults to Yunxia Star. No excuses. No delays. The Huan Family complied, trembling, not daring to ask why.

Now Wang Lin waits. The fruit shipments arrive slowly. He piles them in a hidden cave on Yunxia Star, grinding them into barrels of thick, black juice. Next to the barrels, he carves Gu Shen seals into stone tablets. When everything is ready, he will activate the seals, trick the Wang Yue into drinking, and then—while the monster sleeps like a dead world—he will cut into its golden spine. One piece. Just one. Enough to feed the Tianni Pearl. Enough to take a step closer to mastering his fate. The risk is enormous. If the Wang Yue wakes mid-cut, he will become part of its flesh. But Wang Lin has never let fear stop him. Not on Suzaku Star. Not on Ran Yun Star. And not here, standing on the back of a sleeping god.
