I would be very happy and excited to see non-Chinese people wearing hanfu clothing. To me, it means exchange of culture. Secondly, it reveals how much love or fondness for hanfu by the wearer. Thirdly, inclusiveness invites embracing of acceptance. Hanfu had been suppressed from open society for quite some time. Instead of exclusion, there should be sharing of how wonderful hanfu is to widen its revival efforts.

For anyone with shorter hair that might not be able to do a bun with a full head. It’s not accurate to anything I know of, but you can do this easily with half up your hair as a half up half down. I do it all the time as a day-way to just keep my hair out of my face! and it much more comfortable once you get the hang of it than using a hair band or a hair clip (definitely lasts better than a hair clip imo)

It depends more on what style of hanfu you are wearing😂, I mean, the makeup combined with the clothing is the most important. There are a lot of differences in makeup styles between the Tang and Ming dynasties.

When hanfu is made of chiffon or pastel colors they really give off fairy effect. Then again, I’ve only seen fairies dressed in hanfu. If mythology has some truth, then we are descendants of heavenly creation. Creator must be fairies. 😁🤔😁
