I find that in my hanfu journey I keep seeking some sort of fantasy life - one where I stroll through gardens, smell flowers, and fan myself all day like bygone royalty. This is my reminder to love real life too. I took photos of myself in hanfu doing average, mundane things like drawing and doing my makeup all in my messy room. Hanfu isn't just for a gods-and-princesses life! Sometimes it's important to just let yourself find the beauty of being boring.
