For as long as I can remember, I have always loved hanfu. As a child, I was told hanfu was theater clothing made for acting whether on film or television. Some of it, I was told, was authentic ancient clothing from Chinese history. I have since discovered traditional style clothing has origin from hanfu in one form or another. I am very grateful and happy that the revival of hanfu remain strong and striving. That old good things survive the times of history no matter what motivates destruction of roots. On a lighter note, I just love wearing beautiful things and have fun doing it.
