For the next month and a half, Fo Guang Shan Hsi Lai Temple in Hacienda Heights, California will be hosting various free community events to celebrate the Year of the Horse!
This weekend (February 21-22), the temple will be hosting an all vegetarian food festival from 10 am to 3:30 pm.
They will also provide a vegetarian buffet until March 3. The vegetarian buffet hours are Monday through Friday 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, and Saturday through Sunday 11:30 am to 2 pm.
Lantern viewing, cultural performances, and art gallery exhibitions will also be available until March 3.
There will be various Lunar New Year events occuring throughout February and early March at various locations in Southern California, the Hsi Lai Temple Lunar New Year Celebration Peace Lantern Festival promises to be one of the most unique (and definitely the most delicious!)
